Keynote Speaker: Kim Denney, Partner, Newport Board Group, is an experienced leader with a record of solving top-level problems as a corporate executive. She has 30 years of experience in operations, sales and corporate functions, culminating in general management with a multi-billion dollar international corporation. Kim joined Newport Board Group as a Partner in the fall of 2011, where she is a trusted advisor to CEOs, and serves as a board director to engineering, manufacturing and industrial services companies.
Self-Advocacy: Essential to successful leadership, business development, and career advancement is the ability to effectively communicate your value and confidently ask for what you want from prospective clients, the compensation committee, a potential employer, and your legal team. Change Management: Each attendee will take a Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument and receive an individualized report, measuring conflict-handling modes of avoiding, competing, compromising, accommodating, and collaborating, helping to analyze and positively resolve conflict situations.
