About this event
Kara Karlson is an election attorney now, but in her early career her clients called her “the student loan whisperer.” During her time in private practice, Kara used bankruptcy adversary proceedings and other tools to settle or eliminate student loan debt. More recently, during the dramatic changes to student loan repayment plans since COVID, she helped several individuals get their loans discharged through various available repayment and discharge plans, by providing information and explanations about the quickly-shifting environment.
