Payment in Full In Advance Or At Event

In order to receive the pre-paid luncheon prices, you MUST pre-pay with your credit card on the website BY THE RSVP DEADLINE. DO NOT MAIL IN CHECKS.

If you make a reservation but do not pay on the website with your credit card, you must pay the total cost plus an additional $5 by check or cash at the door. Please see prices on the website.

If you cancel after the registration deadline, or do not show up for a luncheon for which you have registered and you have not paid, you will be billed at the "at the door" price. We pay for the number of meals we guarantee so we must collect the money from you.

Cancellation Policy:

We do not give refunds, but you a member can receive a credit IF you prepay for the luncheon meeting and cancel BEFORE the registration deadline. After the registration deadline of NOON on the Friday before the luncheon meeting, we cannot provide you with a credit. We are required to guarantee the number of meals to the University Club, and we pay for those meals even if you must cancel after the registration deadline. REGISTRATION EXTENDED TO MONDAY, JULY 25, 2022 AT 5:00 P.M.

Marc Osborn will give his annual, always entertaining insider update on what happened at the legislature this year. Marc's lobbying career began in the early 1990s, when he was a lobbyist for the Arizona Chamber of Commerce, where he advocated on behalf of the business community on a broad spectrum of issues. From the Chamber, Marcus was recruited to direct government relations activities at the Arizona Department of Commerce. During his tenure at the Department of Commerce, Marcus successfully lobbied the Greater Arizona Development Authority concerning legislation providing an infrastructure financing mechanism for rural communities. He also represented the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality before the Legislature and Executive branch and helped enact significant legislation in the areas of air quality, waste programs and water quality as well as improvements to the Water Infrastructure Financing Authority.

Since 1998, Marc has represented a diversity of clients in front of the Legislature and Executive agencies. His areas of experience include insurance, public transit, transportation, economic development, tax policy, environment, infrastructure financing authorities, polling, ambulance certificates of necessity, employment law, public records, campaign management, health care, regulatory reform and education. He has authored public academic book chapters on lobbying, developed strategic government relations plans for multiple organizations, and lectured on strategic planning for government relations.

This will be an in-person only event.

Regular Entrée: University Cobb Salad with Chicken

Vegan Entrée: (all items vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free): University Cobb Salad, with no chicken, bacon or tortilla strips, substituting vegan cheese with house italian dressing.

All meals served with rolls and butter; chilled tomato gazpacho (vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free), and sorbet with fruit garnich. Also included, iced tea and water pitchers on the tables. A coffee and tea station will be in the back of the room.

*The State Bar of Arizona does not approve or accredit CLE activities for the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education requirement. This activity may qualify for up to 1.0 hour toward your annual CLE requirement for the State Bar of Arizona, including 0.0 hour of professional responsibility.
