Payment in Full In Advance Or At Event
In order to receive the pre-paid luncheon prices, you MUST pre-pay with your credit card on the website BY THE RSVP DEADLINE. DO NOT MAIL IN CHECKS.

If you make a reservation but do not pay on the website with your credit card, you must pay the total cost plus an additional $5 by check or cash at the door. Please see prices on the website.

If you cancel after the registration deadline, or do not show up for a luncheon for which you have registered and you have not paid, you will be billed at the "at the door" price. We pay for the number of meals we guarantee so we must collect the money from you.
Cancellation Policy:
We do not give refunds, but you a member can receive a credit IF you prepay for the luncheon meeting and cancel BEFORE the registration deadline. After the registration deadline of NOON on the Friday before the luncheon meeting, we cannot provide you with a credit. We are required to guarantee the number of meals to the University Club, and we pay for those meals even if you must cancel after the registration deadline. Judge Jennifer E. Green was appointed to the Maricopa County Superior Court in December 2014, and is currently serving as the Presiding Judge of the Criminal Department after tours of duty in Juvenile and Family Departments. In 1997, Judge Green graduated from the ASU Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law and is a proud alum of the Barrett Honors College with a B.A. in English. From 2008 – 2014, Judge Green served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the United States Attorney’s Office. She served as the Section Chief of Southwest Border Crimes, and prosecuted both violent crime in Indian Country and drug trafficking cases. From 2002 – 2007, Judge Green worked at the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office prosecuting vehicular crimes, including vehicular homicides, and gang and repeat offender cases. From 1998 – 2002, she served as an Assistant Town Prosecutor at the Gilbert Town Prosecutor’s Office handling misdemeanor cases. After law school graduation, Judge Green clerked for the Hon. Jon W. Thompson at the Arizona Court of Appeals, Division One.

Commissioner William Wingard is currently a Maricopa County Superior Court Commissioner assigned to the Criminal Division, where he serves as the Presiding Criminal Commissioner. Prior to this assignment, he served in the Juvenile Division. While serving in the juvenile Division, he presided over a number of different case types, including juvenile delinquency and dependency, adoptions, guardianships and emergency matters involving children. Well over three-fourths of his cases were delinquency matters with the remaining matters consisting of dependency and other juvenile case types. In his current assignment, he has presided over fifty jury trials and a smaller number of bench trials, while maintaining a case management calendar. His duties as Presiding Criminal Commissioner involve the daily operation and adaptation of the Criminal Department, and ensuring the public receives access to justice and that the court operations function efficiently.


 


This will be an in-person only event.

Regular Entrée: Bell Peppers stuffed with shredded chicken, black beans, corn, and shredded cheese with enchilada sauce, and Key Lime Pie for Dessert.

Vegan Entrée: (all items vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free): Quinoa Stuffed Bell Peppers and Sorbet with Fresh Fruit for Dessert.

All meals served with rolls and butter and Garden Salad with mixed greens, tomato, cucumber, carrot, Italian dressing. Also included, iced tea and water pitchers on the tables. A coffee and tea station will be in the back of the room.



*The State Bar of Arizona does not approve or accredit CLE activities for the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education requirement.  This activity may qualify for up to 1.0 hour toward your annual CLE requirement for the State Bar of Arizona, including 0.0 hour of professional responsibility.
