AWLA is sponsoring a foursome to compete at the Tim Huff Pro Bono golf tournament, raising money to support low income families that are in need of civil legal services. This sponsorship will partially cover your entry fee in the tournament; any members selected to play for AWLA will need to pay an entry fee of $200.
More than 5,000 people a year get free family law advice from volunteer lawyers. Over 200 children annually have volunteer lawyers speak on their behalf in family court as well as over 300 families who cannot afford legal help. The Volunteer Lawyer Program also provides legal advice and reassurance to seniors who are intimidated by debt collectors.
